“Don’t forget where you came from, and where you want to go!”

Growing up in a fishing family, I learned the value of hard work and perseverance. But it was my time working on holiday parks that really shaped who I am today. While studying at school, college, and university, I spent countless summers working on the parks, and it taught me so much about life, love, graft, and the pursuit of happiness.

Working on holiday parks was never just a job for me. It was a way of life. It taught me the importance of being kind, patient and understanding with people from all walks of life. It showed me that no matter what you do, always do it with a smile on your face and a positive attitude in your heart.

Today, I carry those lessons with me in everything I do. Whether it’s working with clients or just going about my daily life, I always try to keep that same spirit of kindness and understanding. And I know that wherever my journey takes me, I’ll never forget where I come from or lose sight of where I want to go.

This photo was the Thornwick & Sea Farm Grounds Team from 2000 and we were like the A-team nothing could slow us down, with a cup of tea and pork pie and we could take on anything.  Cheers to Clive, Angelo, Tatey, Graeme, Jack, and Dave (behind the camera) it was the greatest of times.
