6 Years of Digital Cookie Media. Happy Birthday!

Six years ago I started Digital Cookie Media with a simple idea—help holiday parks and leisure businesses showcase their holiday homes better through photography and video.

No grand plan. Just work I enjoyed, in an industry I already knew well.
Over time, the work has naturally evolved.
What I thought was “content creation” has become something much more practical: helping holiday parks and manufacturers present their stock in a way that actually supports sales.

Because in this industry, visuals aren’t decoration—they’re part of the sales process.
A photograph, a walkthrough video, a drone shot of a park… they all influence how a customer feels about a holiday home before they ever speak to a sales team.
That’s the part I’ve become increasingly focused on.
Not just producing content, but understanding how that content is used to sell.

I get a real buzz knowing I have helped someone but a static caravan or lodge the right way, the ethical way.

With 20+ years working in the holiday park and caravan industry before starting Digital Cookie, that connection between marketing and sales has always been the thread running through everything I do.

Im proud to support holiday parks across the United Kingdom, as well as other leisure related businesses. If you think you have an interesting project for me, get in touch.

The Future…

So as I move into year 7, the direction is simple:
More focus on holiday parks, caravan and lodge manufacturers, and the sales teams behind them.
More work that connects marketing content directly to commercial outcomes.
And less “content for content’s sake”.
Still photography. Still video. Still drone work.
Just with a clearer purpose behind it all.
Thanks to everyone who’s been part of the journey so far.

Onwards.
John
